Among a multitude of reasons for not being interested, Bernie Sanders is not a Democrat. While most Democrats including Hillary Clinton&Kamala Harris agree with Bernie’s stated goals, they’ve never tried to divide a party they don’t belong, or suggested abstaining from voting as a useful method of expression.
No but he is a leader. He is out there talking about the real issues facing the American citizens. That is what we need, not a room full of dithering democrats who fall for every trick that the Trump and all his minions place before them.
Name one thing he’s led on. No authored bills, doesn’t believe anything Hillary Clinton doesn’t believe&act on. Undercover ACLU school integration, Americans with disabilities act. Obama care built on work she did when Bill was president. I appreciate Bernie speaking out, but he horrifically divided a party he doesn’t belong to.
Agree that he did that. He was wrong for that moment, and it’s a shame. Listening to him more and more now, he is right for this moment, be has his finger on the pulse and he clarity helps us push back and spread his ideas to others.

And your choice for a leader is?
Brilliant thank you. A piece I wrote earlier this year.
We each have to decide what kind of country we want to live in—before someone else decides for us.
This isn’t nostalgia. It’s a call to build forward, not back.
If the vision still matters to you—this is for you.
