Thanks for sharing Stephanie! The protests are encouraging. So nice to see our outdoor community in action coming together to fight this onslaught. We will not go quietly into the night.
In 1907, (Teddy) Roosevelt declared: “The conservation of natural resources is the fundamental problem. Unless we solve that problem it will avail us little to solve all others.”
The man who established over 200 million miles of public lands would be sorely disappointed to see whatvis happening today.
Ken Burns said something that resonates with me: "National Parks are the best idea we ever had. Absolutely American, absolutely democratic, they reflect us at our best rather than our worst."
So we need to protect them as if our lives depended upon them.
The land is the heart and soul of America. I’m hoping praying that our collective voices will prevail. Beautifully expressed Stephanie. I believe your words echo through our minds and hearts into the consciousness of humanity. The cry of humanity is increasing by the minute.

So true. I think most presidents would be sorely disappointed to see what’s happening now. Thanks for reading, Sarah.

We are powerful in ways this administration can’t predict. We can do this. Thank you for reading, Susan!
I want to add
Pros: protecting green spaces is
a real concern of mine
Setbacks don't bother me. A setback
is either a "so what" or a" what's
next?" (Read my brother's book, "Fight and
Win.") It's a small hardcover about
community environmental activists,
Projects he's led them through, tools
Challenges and how to respond.
